To ensure compliance with T4PA (Title IV Part A) requirements, LEAs must maintain several forms of documentation locally and be prepared to provide them to the TEA (Texas Education Agency) or an auditor upon request. Ensure you are aware of all documentation requirements and reporting deadlines to maintain compliance.
Required Reports
In addition to the spotlighted reports, LEAs must complete and submit the following reports annually:
Unsafe School Choice Option (USCO) - PR 6200 (More Information from TEA)
Private Nonprofit (PR 3099) - if applicable
Gun Free Schools Report (GFR) - PR 6000, PR 6100
ESSA Consolidated Compliance Report (PR 3107)
Reports are due annually via eGrants by September 30th.
LEA ESSA T4PA Special Data Collection
The DOE requires TEA to collect and publicly report how all T4PA funds are being expended per content area by FFY.
LEA ESSA Program Monitoring Validations
The FPC Division administers a PMV process for ensuring LEAs are in compliance with the ESSA program requirements.

These reports need to be completed by all LEAs that applied for funding, whether individually, as fiscal agents, or as part of shared services arrangements.
The reports, which gather data on program participation, expenditures, and compliance, can be accessed through eGrants on TEAL. To view your compliance reports, log into TEAL, select eGrants, and then click on Compliance Reports in the menu bar.

Reports are due annually via eGrants by September 30th. Reports submitted after the due date or not submitted may result in points added to the LEA's risk assessment.

All LEAs that applied for T4PA program funds are required to report on:
- T4PA Program Objectives + Measurable Outcomes
- T4PA Expenditures by Service/Content Area(s)
- All LEAs receiving T4PA funds must submit WorkApp data
- LEAs must not include confidential or FERPA protected information.
- All LEAs electing to REAP/Transfer 100% of T4PA funds to another fund must certify and submit WorkApp data (on what?).
- All LEA submitted data will be publicly reported.
